I looooooove Marie’s voice and that iconic smirk of hers. The moment I first saw her make that expression kind of stole my heart, I always thought she was so gorgeous and handsome… I just wasn’t as vocal about it until recently LOL

It was my first console I ever had and it’s just such a perfect shape ya know? I got a GameCube in the classic black color but as I grew up I liked the blurple color a bit more LOL. It had so many unique titles and it felt like creativity was at an all time high when you look back at some of the games released in that time period…

For me that was reading books out loud, reading game dialogue, fics or scripts you write and really putting yourself into the shoes of the characters. That’s part of how you learn to emote and make a performance feel believable based on what’s happening!

It’s fun to get a group together over VC and live dub things too, which is what I got a chance to do through sites like Casting Call Club.

And once I was finally able to take classes, I see that those are similar techniques people still use. Hopefully that was specific enough but there’s always plenty to say on the topic! I’m still looking to improve every year and do cleaner reads :)

Gotta go with MarinaxMarie. I loved seeing them on stage together during the hologram lives and the small moments like Rina giving Marie her headphones in the Chaos vs Order art or her revealing Marie is her fav in the DLC omg… I’d still say Mariver is my top rarepair and I do appreciate Agent 12 (4x3) as well.

YEAH! I LOVE Legend of Zelda and Sonic. So now, they are my big three along with Splatoon. I used to be very into Zelda theory videos specifically regarding the timeline but slowed down my interests after Breath of the Wild I’d say. Both Spirit Tracks and Skyward Sword made me cry.

Even though I’m not the most skilled Sonic gamer, the story motivated me to power through and I will cherish those game soundtracks until the end of time!!!!

I really like the fan-made Pearlbot plushes I’ve seen around and recently got some swim form plushes of Marie and Frye from TORI.PNG!

Also my favorite con has to be San Japan. Tons of great memories and I always have the luck of running into friends at panels when I didn’t even know they’d be there! Plus seeing Paida perform live at several events has been lovely.

I love when that chill is in the air around fall time and the crisp smell after a colder rainy day. Winter is so fleeting in Texas so I actually treasure it and the transition to spring LOL

same as my favorite anime which is Fullmetal Alchemist! i’ve always loved the art style and character arcs so much

ultimately I do think it’s about promotion and how visible Splatoon becomes with this next installment. I think we need more promotional events and brand collaborations in the states. Splatoon 3 had quite a few in Japan but absolutely soared during Splatoon 2’s era looking back on it.

a lot of people didn’t like the goofy commercials we got in the states but there have been ones similar in tone to the Japanese PVs as well. it really does come to marketing when i think about it. getting more eyes on the series. hopefully we do get an animation miniseries but that’s just a desire as a fan and i’m not sure how directly it’ll impact popularity.

second most important thing could be to make sure the lore is accessible for newcomers. so maybe in the next game they can do something similar to Sonic X Shadow Generations where there are collectible art book concepts, media like the Squid Sisters Stories, idol interviews and a summary of the story so far with Now or Never Seven available to flip through in a gallery area. okay now I NEED THIS.

in Splatoon 4 I definitely want to see

• more customization options for our playable characters
• continued focus on world building (more stuff like the Alterna Logs and chat logs with unlockable cutscenes)
• maps having different layouts in turf and not just ranked (maybe two versions but it also heavily depends on what kind of specials are brought back or introduced)
• experimenting with weather effects on maps. even something like the return of the sunrise skybox we finally got at grandfest being seen in the other hubs would be awesome!

I think we’re gonna get Splatsville and Inkopolis access in base Splatoon 4 with additional locations added so no need to worry about that. Apartments that give us a single studio room to decorate still feels like it’s attainable but could also be a DLC. they gave us WAY too many locker items and no save state for them if you want to revert to a previous design anyway! it could still be added since we have returning content updates until Summer Nights (potentially) so i guess we’ll see.

and as far as spin-offs go i would love to see something like Project Diva for Splatoon. building off what Squid Beatz has in terms of gameplay and giving us dance videos for the idols (like the Grand Festival screens at the clam stage) that are a little flashier. we get to unlock new locations and outfits which makes for a ton of replay-ability! and it could have a story mode too like Persona 4 Dancing All Night.

a single player only title focused on earth exploration feels like a pipe dream so I can see them going the music route since it’s such a core part of the game!

i’ve talked about it a lot during streams and random tweets but YES I wouldn’t mind a spinoff before we move to splatoon 4! feels like if we were still in the 3DS era we might have potentially seen one sooner. but the Legends example actually works well for plot points like the great turf war or even seeing different points in the idols lives through taking an entirely new role outside of being an agent. i got really excited to find out what comes after the Squidbeak splatoon because at this point it might be holding the Squid Sisters back after Splatoon 3 and even the devs realize that. this story element would serve as a good homage to Splat1 but the third time would HAVE to be the charm.

ooooh man fading to dust. was in my early twenties when Splatoon 1 launched but even though I saw it at E3 2014 I didn’t pick up the game until I had the chance to buy it during black friday and so my first splatfest would be Burgers vs Pizza in Dec 2015. still sad to this day over missing the transformers splatfest. i’ll never forget my first experience with hero mode and listening to tide goes out on loop after i got the squid sisters amiibo. that’s when the fixation TRULY set in lmao

I’m a huge fan of the Land Food vs Seafood art from Splat1 because they were a lil goofy for having Marie drooling over seafood like that. 😏 I also LOVED the final splatfest art. In Splat2, I really enjoy the Hana vs Dango, Salsa vs Guac and Kid vs Grown Up art pieces. For Splat3, Frye’s outfit in the Chocolate splatfest (Feb2023) absolutely gives me life and then the Grand Fest blew me away (as expected)!

i definitely would love to see an apartment room for customization added since there’s way too many locker items to even fully use (and no locker saves if you liked an old design). also have been ruminating for a couple years about a project diva style rhythm game with all the idol choreography we have and can get from new songs. or even throw in a story mode for that too! i definitely want more lore for splatbands and squid sisters (where do they really live, let us see calamari county etc)

i would spend a lot of time trying out the different food they have FOR SURE. also trying out a game of turf war to see how it feels. standing at the squid sisters window… if i could be there during a splatfest it’d be magical though

oooh this one is kinda long. i’ve been making silly voices for inanimate objects since i was five and i also enjoyed reading fiction books to my siblings and later volunteering at libraries. but what really clicked for me was playing sonic games and listening to the voice acting! i started recording files on a tape recorder back then around 13 years old doing impressions of the VAs. i would read the dialogue lines from DS games out loud and then in 2017 i finally started to check out sites like casting call club! after getting involved in a few fan projects i decided to start my channel and try dubs. i was also heavily inspired by the persona 4 hiimdaisy comic Sapphire had worked on at the time and how many times you could rewatch it. i knew i wanted to make stuff like that for my favorite franchises! i’ve been uploading a lot slower but there’s still plenty of things i got left to work on. even if you take time to start all that matters is that you finally tried. :)
