boundaries
If you involve yourself regularly with drama or queer community/fandom/social justice discourse, you may interact, but I will probably not follow back and may mute you if it is pervasive enough. You are encouraged to talk to me about controversial topics if and only if you are willing to accept that I may disagree with you, and hear me out. In return, I will keep an open mind to what you are saying. If you intend to cut me off, harass me, or go after my friends if I'm not convinced of your position, don't bother asking in the first place.
Non-sexual flirting is okay, but ask before making overtly sexual comments. Since I allow followers under 18, it may be best to move those conversations to another venue. Feel free to ask for my contact information on other platforms.
As long as I don't get too many asks about this to the point that it starts to feel like a job, I'll gladly answer any tech questions!
(If it starts to feel like a job, then I'll start demanding a living wage. But I enjoy helping folks.)
what Star Trek character do you associate me with (from the original or any of the spinoffs)?
hmmm... I'm thinking Wesley Crusher, specifically as he was portrayed in Star Trek: Prodigy.
— @twsa's randomly occurring questions Do you have a favourite music video? If so, do you have a favourite character and/or scene from that music video?
Technically it's a full album video - Interstella 5555, directed by Leiji Matsumoto for Daft Punk's Discovery. I had to look up the names of the characters... but I love Shep and his electric guitar spaceship.
There are other music videos I might like more, but they don't have "characters" of significance. Maybe the rapping cat from Orbital's Wonky could be another favorite
do you prefer green or red apples?
green apples, for the stronger flavor
foomf :3 (this bitch doesn't know what to ask)
evenyan!
ok....hi foof...You're the tech guy so i figured i'd give this a shot. do you have any knowledge on interactive desktop wallpapers? i'd like to just...Give my computer a face of sorts. I know there IS a way to set animated & possibly interactive images as a wallpaper, but that's as far as my knowledge goes.thanks bro.......
I do know that the most popular software for animated or interactive wallpapers on Windows is Wallpaper Engine. I've never used it though. Instead, I've done similar things on Linux with KDE Plasma's wallpaper plugins.
If you could only recommend one song to someone, what song would you choose and why?
Autobahn by Kraftwerk... it's an incredible, singular experience
⠀⠀qotd ⠀what's a movie, series, or game you've been meaning to try but haven't yet?
Movie: THX 1138. It was George Lucas's first movie, five years before Star Wars, and has a really cool premise, but it sadly isn't included with any streaming services.
Series: The Apple TV Foundation series looks like it's made for me, but I just haven't had the time for much other than Star Trek.
Game: Fallout New Vegas. It's sci-fi, a lot of critics I trust list it as an all-time favorite, and I might actually get to it soon, since it's a lot cheaper than I thought.
A synthesizer.
What's a video game that means a lot to you?
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, an excellent exploration-focused RPG released in 2002. I discovered it as a kid on YouTube, and my hyperfixation resurfaces every year or so thanks to Project Tamriel and Tamriel Rebuilt continuing to release unofficial "expansions" for it.
qotd 6 -- favourite ost from your favourite video game?.?? ^^
From classic Doom, my favorites are I Sawed the Demons, Hell Keep, Into Sandy's City, and DOOM.
From Morrowind, my favorite is the main title theme, Nerevar Rising (internally called Call of Magic).
From the Ace Attorney series, my favorites include but are not limited to Justice for All's Investigation - Opening, Apollo Justice's theme, and both Confrontation - Presto themes.
From Minecraft, my favorite tracks include Sweden, Subwoofer Lullaby, Chirp, Taswell, and Dreiton.
If you were a kemonomimi, what would you be?
Kitsunemimi. Or nekomimi, provided that I get to be the kind of cat stereotype that's chaotic and doesn't give a fuck what people think (like T'Ana from Star Trek: Lower Decks) instead of whatever is going on in Nekopara.
HELLO somebody suggested to ask you about this...... i have the gradient syntax thing in my primary color option but it doesnt show up/work at all, actually, changing the color of my nav bar doesnt work at all gradient or not 💔 it works for others, but not my profile for whatever reason (@3ds is an example of some1 who has it working with that gradient syntax thingy specifically) gradients work for everything else for whatever reason...... do u know why this might be
It looks like it actually is working - you can see it on your buttons. But the nav no longer uses the primary color in the new website theme. @3ds also set the raised color to a gradient, and that's why he has a gradient on his navbar.
You can either change the raised color, or go back to how colors were used before with some extra CSS (corrected):
nav:not(.legacy *) {
background: var(--color-primary);
}
nav:not(.legacy *) button, nav:not(.legacy *) a.button {
color: var(--color-text-primary);
}
