otherwise... this is kinda obscure, but the Canadian comedy troupe LoadingReadyRun used to have a fictional rap group called 64K. the music isn't great but the personalities and comedy are hilarious.

I hate how Discord calls its communities "servers" when they're all hosted on the same few servers. I know it's meant to call back to IRC servers that often focused on channels with a specific theme, but I feel as though I'm the only Discord user who knows that.

I swear I've seen a similar misuse of the term "instance" (meaning: a copy of a piece of software running on a server). But I can't remember what it was.

I think there might be a different meaning of the word "hosted" that no one has defined to me yet, based on the fact that I confused someone else on this site a couple days ago by using it (correctly) to mean "stored on a server and publiclt accessible". Whatever it means, I hate it too.

From what I remember: during an economic recession that was blamed on war debt, the royals continued to live in extreme luxury, while the middle class was shrinking. This led to civil unrest and severe polarization between the three "estates" of the legislature. Eventually leading to a violent overthrow of the royal family, in which King Louis was stripped of his status and beheaded, followed by many other aristocrats, and a complete reworking of France's political system to favor the middle class rather than the aristocracy.

The SNES/Genesis/Game Boy era. I think the SNES and Genesis were the peak of pixel art, still limited by the TVs and CPUs of the time, but stylized. And some of the best games of all time came out in this era, like Final Fantasy IV-VI, Earthbound, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, the first several Sonic games, the original Pokémon, Tetris for Game Boy...

In elementary school it was PE. Absolutely exhausting and I couldn't physically do some of the things they asked. One day after I complained too many times the teacher punished me by having me sit in the corner while the other students ran... and I just did that on purpose for the rest of the year because I wanted to skip the class.

In middle and high school it was science. I actually loved the subject matter but had terrible luck with professors.

I don't have a least favorite subject now! I get to choose my classes as a college student :D
