My favorite band is Kraftwerk, which I got as a recommendation from my Dad after getting really into another electronic artist (C418). Every album of theirs is a completely singular experience, never to be duplicated, and despite being less known, their influence on music as a whole is at least as massive as the Beatles.

Kraftwerk doesn't have my favorite singer though (Ralf Hütter has a pretty limited range). That would be Björk, and I honestly can't remember what got me into her, probably just knew she existed through cultural osmosis and randomly decided to check her out one day. She does some amazing things with her voice.
