I got into Manowar and Iron Maiden beuse of my dad. I got into Goto 80 and MBR because of the YT feed and went all like "dang these are good"

But my favorite singer will always be Prince even if I dont like his music style that much. That dude is incredible. He got recommended to me by the teacher at the choir and dang it was worth it.

Roi, I had followed him because I saw that VIVINOS and QMENG directed the music video for his song Boku wa Jinro, but I only started listening to his music when Gemini came out, I related to it a lot, especially as a gemini myself (Plus the fact that it released for Roi's birthday a couple days after mine, that was cool haha), it then lead me down the rabbit hole of Roi songs (He only has two other originals though, those being Boku wa Jinro as I've mentioned and Nikukyu, the rest are covers) and I've been a fan ever since
There's Lee Hyun Nim as well, who I got into recently because of his song "You wished me to die, but" popping up in my recommended, it's unfortunate that only three of his songs are on Spotify but at least they're my favourites
And Buraikan, I wasn't expecting to like them at first, because I got into Paralive through the anime (My favourite units were Akanyatsura and cozmez at the time), but once I got to the Buraikan part I knew I was going to like them (Old men doomed yaoi /hj, and voiced by two voice actors who voice two characters from a previous hyperfixation), I think my absolute favourite song of theirs was either DO OR DIE or LET IT HEAT, right now it's FRONTIER, which is their most recent one

My favorite band is Kraftwerk, which I got as a recommendation from my Dad after getting really into another electronic artist (C418). Every album of theirs is a completely singular experience, never to be duplicated, and despite being less known, their influence on music as a whole is at least as massive as the Beatles.

Kraftwerk doesn't have my favorite singer though (Ralf Hütter has a pretty limited range). That would be Björk, and I honestly can't remember what got me into her, probably just knew she existed through cultural osmosis and randomly decided to check her out one day. She does some amazing things with her voice.
