if they're just. Creature. i love creature characters... i also love characters if they're related to the ocean in some way

Fluffy hair + a lot of acessories and clothes. the more harder to draw the character is the more well-writen it is

I know it says "one of" but I got a bit carried away

• Two toned hair
• Blue(ish) (As in blue as the hair/one of the main colours)
• "Cool" (personality or design wise) character
• Black/white (As in black and/or white as the main or hair colour of the character)

The character on the left is a character I whipped up quickly with the first things that came to mind to demonstrate my favourite/go to things when it comes character design (Not the best since like I said it was done quickly), and the character screenshots are examples for the points I mentioned

ok since you said just one, I really like characters whose gender you can't tell just by looking

it's hard to say bc I don't really think of characters this way, personality and story significance always trump visuals to me. a character can look like an utterly boring nobody and still be a favorite because the story around them is interesting

but when I have absolutely no context as to a character's personality or story significance there are certain things that make them "cute" or "cool"

things I find cute: bright colors, simple outfits, or really glamorous outfits sometimes, short straight hair, dresses and vests, animal ears

things I find cool: wonky weapons or tools, striking color palettes, utterly unrealistic hair styles, anything shiny or glowing, emblems representing the character or faction

i also like nice, simple, iconic designs. like most nintendo characters

fluffy hair/lots of random curled strands just placed around. like this

i think i like roblox characters with hats (my point: i selfship with three different roblox characters that have hats....... one of them is the character i like the most)

i'm a big fan of a red/black/white color palette tbh... it always looks cool imo! kado and boothill are examples that i can think of immediately
