you sound like my parents' cat

he only goes where the people in the house are, but he doesn't actually interact with the people, he just sleeps and occasionally gets up to knock something off a table

It's the computer's default font then

Blame Google (if that's a Chromebook)

For fonts: use the font-family property of * (meaning "everything").

* {
  font-family: "YOUR FONT";
}

if the font you want to use is a generic category of fonts (e.g. serif, monospace, or cursive) then that's all you need, but if you want to import a font from another website, you need to upload the .ttf or .otf file somewhere, and add this code:

@font-face {
  font-family: "FONT NAME";
  src: url(LINK TO TTF OR OTF FILE);
}

For cursors, you need to upload the image or .cur file somewhere, then use the cursor property of whatever you want the cursor to appear on (most likely, everything):

* {
  cursor: url(LINK TO YOUR CURSOR);
}

hi I'm the one whose theme angie's is based on!

"monospace" refers to a category of fonts, rather than a specific font. in CSS it basically says "use the user's default text editor/terminal font"

and my profile is based on the look and feel of a terminal, so it's perfect for that

also I'd be happy to help anon out :)

fair enough. I'm a lot less annoyed by that "basic DNI" than by other "basic DNI"s that include things like proshippers, endogenic systems, and bi lesbians.

I also find it hard to think of such a person (aside from the obvious: other racists and homophobes) but I'm also hesitant to say there isn't one. Plenty of people have recovered from racism or homophobia, and what it takes is both a will to change, and someone to encourage them to change. I also think that online people aren't always good at detecting bigotry, especially when what's actually happening is a lack of political education, but that's tangential

your friend might be right

but also, retrospring, and to some extent neospring, are bubbles that suck at judging what positions are actually harmful, because they just assume everyone agrees with the majority of the bubble

keep in mind, this will not stop people from manually typing neospring.org/user/comments into their browser's URL bar. it just makes the link invisible.

if you want to prevent people from seeing your comments it's probably better to request that as a feature

Seems I misjudged the M2U album by its first two tracks... it's looking to be more of a progressive house and modern dubstep album, which I have mixed feelings about for different reasons. I was never a particular fan of those subgenres in the first place, I find them too loud and annoying. But the production is at least competent, no outright terrible drops and the synths have some variety instead of the same settings every single track.

Also I would like to correct my post: AZALI does have albums... but they're all very short. It also seems that they are a more varied artist too, but still very classical influenced. I'm liking "LOOKING GLASS LUMINESCENCE" off their newest album a lot (certainly more than anything on that M2U album), it is very unique

honestly it would probably be better to just go with what little context the movie gives or explain it to him if he asks

I'm rewatching the series lately, and letting the memes flow through me

Is it time to celebrate yet, though?

The capital city fell and the president was overthrown, but the political transition is only just beginning, and there are lots of different rebel groups with different ideas in control of different parts of the country

f00f the f00fy 1733689352446

I've heard various people talking about making pages full of common codes but I haven't seen one yet (and I'm sure if I did I'd have plenty of feedback...)

CSS is extremely powerful, you can do basically anything with it (save for fundamentally re-arranging the site layout or changing how it functions), so it's probably best to just come up with some ideas and ask how to implement them

that <style> tag at the start is not necessary. that's what tells HTML where the stylesheet is, but Neospring will put one there automatically, and it'll probably sanitize that text anyway to prevent you from sneaking HTML into your CSS

it's quite appropriate for Roblox though

yeah that's how language evolves pretty much

will 22nd-century philosophers be talking about the "oomf-opp" distinction, having forgotten the origins of both words and their informal usage? who knows

by model I just mean a way of describing things. an explanation that fits observations about your own experiences.

you could look around various plural online resources for labels (which are also a kind of model), or look into DID and OSDD, but that's not really what I'm talking about. You should be trying to describe yourself (or selves) as you already are, not trying to fit yourself into someone else's box.

What I'm suggesting you do is a bit of introspection and make your own model. Try to describe the experience you think might be systemhood in detail. Try and come up with explanations or metaphors for those experiences without judgment or reliance on plural community jargon. Then do the research to see if someone's given a name to a similar idea. Or make one up.
