real with the 3rd one however, many people typically use this or something similar when they refer to a "basic dni criteria." Everyone might be different, but I can't think of a single person that would willingly want to interact with someone who's racist or homophobic. While people may ignore boundaries, the block button always exists, right?

fair enough. I'm a lot less annoyed by that "basic DNI" than by other "basic DNI"s that include things like proshippers, endogenic systems, and bi lesbians.

I also find it hard to think of such a person (aside from the obvious: other racists and homophobes) but I'm also hesitant to say there isn't one. Plenty of people have recovered from racism or homophobia, and what it takes is both a will to change, and someone to encourage them to change. I also think that online people aren't always good at detecting bigotry, especially when what's actually happening is a lack of political education, but that's tangential
