hi squid whatd you think of kakanias character story

Sorry for the delayed response I had to chew on things. I think it was Great but I didn't like it, at least not initially. It was very logically written, and the resolution made perfect sense, and I saw it coming a mile away, but it did hurt to read! It really made me confront how much of Isolde's rose-tinted view of Kakania had sort of blinded me to her flaws, but I realllyyyy love how she manages to pick herself back up. I also just like the idea of a character that fits in her archetype going to therapy. Like the rash idealist with big ideas, having to confront the actual grit of implementing their ideas, or challenging their own hypocrisy. Good story. Yummy story. Painful food for thought.

it woukd be ridiculously ooc for ibuki to join akatsuki we know keitos selection process is tedious. we know tetora is still a little bitter about being rejected. the three of them they are perfect as is ā¤ļø perhaps this will just be another story of keito behaving like a single father who doesnā€™t understand his teenage son

Tbf the entire reason Keito made a selection process was to dissuade people from joining during the war, but with akatsuki being 'reborn' he probably wouldn't do it. A much stronger case would be the fact that unlike many other units, akatsuki has never entertained the thought of having new members join, even when krk graduated and Souma was thinking of college. They always assumed it would be three people for the rest of the foreseeable future. I actually think it would be interesting to have Ibuki be sort of a physical consequence of their activities in Okinawa. Unlike Ryuseitai, they were more fixated on the competition, and being winners in the region, may have contributed greatly to hurting the local idols.

I don't mind confrontation just don't be stupid. But anyways, I HAVE A BUNCHHH. I kind of like them all...?

NUMBER ONE is definitely Kanata, Submarine, Wisterias of May, and ABYSS changed my lifeeee. I just love how Kanata in particular brings out Souma's flaws. He tends to get a little idealized in krks head, so it's just refreshing to see someone who can so bluntly recognize Souma's impulsiveness/blind loyalty and also genuinely adores him. I also like their symbolism, I think a God and his Executioner is just soooo romantic hehe. I also like his relationship with Koga! It shone so much in Heaven and Earth, and seeing Souma mess around and be a little prick was tons of fun. It's clear he's comfortable with Koga. Kohaku! It was oneeee interaction but oh my goodness it was so interesting... Just the idea of Souma having a prickly little kouhai was awesome. Speaking of Kouhai, Shinobu and Tomoya also have really sweet relationships with Souma. I'm really glad that Souma is getting more chances to show off his own wisdom and reliability. Because while he does have his own unique way of engaging with the world, he also has plenty of experience in it. And of course there's Madara, but I think I've talked quite a bit about it. I just think his perspective on Madara is surprisingly very grounded and flattering. It's unexpected but in a good way. Madara's respect for him is also refreshing. I like his new friendship with Tatsumi. It was unexpected, but it makes sense, and they both mesh really well. And of course he's an absolute sweetheart with Adonis. :)

good evening i wonder if there is some actual logical scientific colour theory type explanation for why akatsukiā€™s colours look so besutiful and satisfyingn together. its like looking at Their shades of green red and purple scratch a very specific itch in the brain. it feels like they are equally spaced out colours on the spectrum like they are a triad they complete each other. Do you get what i mean. sorry i love their designs on 38248 levels thank you

They are actually a Triad! A split complementary Triad to be exact. This question actually made me think about the coloring of each member. I mean logically, If their name is 'aka' tsuki, and they primarily wear red, why wouldn't their leader be red? But when you put all of their colors on a color wheel, Keito's green looks a little like it's pulling the Purple and Red (warmer colors) together :). But even then, Keito's green is a little on the yellow side. All three of them have colors that go best with gold, which is scattered throughout their unit outfits. Another neat thing is that their image colors (while not exact) match very closely to a lot of traditional Japanese colors (Yes those are a thing). Kuro matches 'Pure Red', Keito matches various shades of 'Green Onion' and 'Willow', and Souma ranges from 'Wisteria' to 'Bellflower'.
