Sorry for the delayed response I had to chew on things. I think it was Great but I didn't like it, at least not initially. It was very logically written, and the resolution made perfect sense, and I saw it coming a mile away, but it did hurt to read! It really made me confront how much of Isolde's rose-tinted view of Kakania had sort of blinded me to her flaws, but I realllyyyy love how she manages to pick herself back up. I also just like the idea of a character that fits in her archetype going to therapy. Like the rash idealist with big ideas, having to confront the actual grit of implementing their ideas, or challenging their own hypocrisy. Good story. Yummy story. Painful food for thought.
