punch-out!! is about punching people out! thats it

ok but punch-out!! is really jst a typical boxing game. beat one circuit & move on to the other until you earn the title of being a champion & the main character is little mac (super cute... to me at least) who is a 17 year old italian american who has (or perhaps "had" now?) a huge passion for boxing. for some reason the people he fights have literal fucking superpowers but who cares its punch-out & apparently anything is allowed in the ring!
