OMG YAY I CAN RANT HAPPILY nekopara is a visual novel, the first volume released in 2014 im pretty sure! its about catgirls running a cafe called la soleil with their partner named kashou, theres about 4 main volumes currently and two spinoffs, and a fifth volume in production! despite the game releasing in 2014 , chocola and vanilla (the two main girls in vol 1) have actually been around for YEARS beforehand! with one of their most popular appearances being the thumbnail of the nightcore version of "take a hint"! chocola and vanilla are twin sisters :) all of the catgirls are also named after food (chocola, vanilla, coconut, azuki, cinnamon, and maple, theres also fraise which means strawberry in french!) , nekopara is a rlly huge special interest of mine so im glad i get to talk abt it rn HFUHDHD
