No idea if I'll ever finish it, but I was reading "The City and the Stars" by Arthur C. Clarke. It's a sci-fi novel set in the far future, when humans who have obtained technological immortality and live in an underground megacity. Then the first new human in millions of years is born and he is very confused by how everyone else acts.
