for me what helped the most learning a non-native language was still hyperfixating on it and consuming as much media as possible 😅 what about c-dramas don’t you like? kjy csj sjy have recommended quite a few chinese movies in the past, you can try those maybe since they won’t require as much of a time commitment as dramas? i just rewatched soulmate with zhou dongyu the other day (whom kjy loves)….heinous little movie

you can also look up chinese gl manhuas and try to read them in their original language if you’re interested! my friend was really into gl manhwa so that’s how she’d improve her krn at first - by reading in korean and looking up vocab she didn’t know even if one chapter took forever. for manhuas with existing translations another idea is to translate them yourself and compare your work to the translation!
