author-nim, i have a really hard time for learning chinese, but i have to! so i can graduate from this university any tips for learning chinese? because i don't really like watching c-dramas as I'm forced myself to watch it and still unable to enjoy it you know.. because of bn and es i got some little spirit to learn more, but still sometimes it's tiring any tips?
for me what helped the most learning a non-native language was still hyperfixating on it and consuming as much media as possible đ what about c-dramas donât you like? kjy csj sjy have recommended quite a few chinese movies in the past, you can try those maybe since they wonât require as much of a time commitment as dramas? i just rewatched soulmate with zhou dongyu the other day (whom kjy loves)âŚ.heinous little movie
you can also look up chinese gl manhuas and try to read them in their original language if youâre interested! my friend was really into gl manhwa so thatâs how sheâd improve her krn at first - by reading in korean and looking up vocab she didnât know even if one chapter took forever. for manhuas with existing translations another idea is to translate them yourself and compare your work to the translation!
edit: anon do you know ĺé i was rly into it a while back and oomf is bingeing it now and reminded me of it lol. the whole series is on youtube!
