you mean the fairy tales in a dream scout? i never really put much thought about it, but now that you mentioned it i can see some similarities, like ritsu having really fair skin and raven hair like snow white, growing up in reclusion, and the fact that both fall into a blissful dream that they can only wake up from with the help of someone who loves them (like i guess that could be an allegory of how ritsu would resort to sleep as a form of escapism until his friends — knights, mao, mika, koga, the tea club, etc — extended him a hand and got him back to the waking world? would that be a stretch?)

but idk, if you're asking me from the standpoint of the devs, i'd think of it just as a stylistic choice honestly kjfnkkjsdkm
