i think that there is so much affection evident in the music - not just lyrically and conceptually, but in how it's crafted and delivered. vernon's affection for minghao and minghao's anticipatory love language and indulgences (in ways we don't see with many other members - maybe woozi, musically at least, and seungkwan?) i think only rivals the kind of quiet affection we see between wonwoo and seungcheol (i can think of a couple other pairings but i think it's that same level of playful indulgence where the dongsaeng gets to really BE the dongsaeng, you know?)
