I don't want to lose a lot of friends or get into super stressful conversations, so these aren't my hottest takes ever, but here's some more extreme versions of the takes in the original question:

• Gacha game waifus in general all look the same, but the real problem isn't the characters. The predatory monetization, and the way the games are designed to addict people, are the real problem, and I support governments who have decided to regulate them as gambling.
• Shipping discourse is so thoroughly poisoned, and turned into a two-sided war with no nuance allowed, that I can't really take either self-described "proshippers" or "antis" seriously. The topics of free speech, ethics in fiction, cancel culture, the safety of children online, the design of social media platforms, etc... can and should be discussed separately, rather than tied to shipping, and there needs to be space for civil discussions between people who genuinely want to learn from each other.
• There is no such thing as "basic DNI". Everyone's boundaries are different, and no one ought to be universally isolated. Bigots, abusers, and authoritarians suck, and probably should be avoided by most people, but they'll ignore your boundaries anyway, and they aren't going to stop being assholes unless someone helps them to.
