shut up shut up SHUT UP!!!! i am SICK and TIRED of seeing people hating on the boruto!!! yes it sucks ass but im so TIRED of seeing people who only watch the anime instead of reading the manga being like "naruto ep (number) vs boruto ep (number)... :(" like quit WHINING and READ THE MANGA and CHECK THE FILLER LIST.... like genuinely man its like comparing some other action shonen about ninja to Naruto and being like "omg! this episode is a filler in this anime, but not in naruto! must be a bad series then !" as if naruto isn't ridden with the craziest filler arcs. /nbh

I'm fairly sure that namida, sumire and wasabi dressing up as animals to help the zoo get their runaway creatures back won't kill you considering there's a literal episode in naruto where there's a talking ostrich named condor and in shippuden Rock lee boxes a kagaroo...

yes boruto sucks as an anime and the animators r kinda mid yes boruto sucks as a character yes he's stuck up yes he doesn't appreciate his dad yes he can be an annoying bitch yes the power scaling is so unbalanced yes it's like the writer of boruto (kishimoto, the writer of naruto) didn't even read naruto considering the downgrade many characters got, not just orochimaru yes boruto cheated at he chuunin exams and he's overall not that good of a person but JashDAMN its like half the fandom can't stop comparing the two series in things that shouldn't even be compared. i'm fine w people pointing out stuff like "why is orochimaru just some scientisty dad now? he was a sociopathic dr frankenstein before, why'd he just downgrade" and "boruto is really ungrateful" /nbh

despite all the irredeemable flaws of the boruto series, specifically the anime cuz the manga is just overall better (+ light novels r better too), there's redeemable qualities to be found there too. Karin is less obsessive and seems to have calmed down about sasuke since the shippuden era. We have mitsuki, which i'm only listing because i love this sweet kid. We see the world develop, trains exist and the leaf village has become more modern, in turn making the quality of life of people probably slightly better for non shinobi. we see old characters (as butchered as their designs have become) alive and happy with their lives and families.
