I think at certain points of his career he has felt resentment towards younger creators around him. But it wasn’t hatred for them, it came from his own insecurity. At certain points of his career, he was putting in A LOT of work, but younger creators would get more attention for doing less and that could have caused him to feel like it was unfair. That possible made him doubt himself and how good of a creator he was because if his well-put projects couldn’t grab the attention that simple streams of younger creators could, was it worth it? This could have caused a bit of misalignment and he might have reconsidered being a creator. But again, it was temporary and it didn’t cause any real animosity. Everyone goes through that at some point. Nowadays, he understands that everyone has their own pace and everyone is doing their own thing. He has compassion for younger creators, knowing how tough it is to be so young and have so many eyes on you.
