Alright so I see a lot of people say that Twilight Sparkle reaching her point of ascension to being a princess in season three would've made the best ending. And yes I agree! To an extent. A lot of different extents. Theres multiple things with this. If Twilight became a princess at the END of the show so, season 9. For one the seasons behind that would've gone much much different. Twilight becoming a princess in season three prepared the seasons to come. For example of this. If Twilight became a princess at the END of the season as a finale we would've never gotten to see her growth as a princess, we never would have seen things so miniscule as learning to fly from something so identity shattering for her as having trouble figuring out what her purpose as a princess even is. That's been her journey for a while. She got to take another pony under her wing. She got to help somepony grow and learn from their past. (Starlight Glimmer). I do see the vision with her becoming a princess at the end of the show. That's the part I "agree" with because I can see what people think going off of that. But I think that the ending we got with her and her friends getting to rule equestria I mean, me personally it didn't feel right? Maybe it was her design changing so much to look like Celestia. But what DOES feel right is seeing how Twilight and her friends grew together and how they still are friends years later. It feels unreal because it's the end, and I like that. I love seeing them at the finale compared to the first episode. They've all grown so much and I'm happy with what we got
