Hm how can he NOT look cheap publicly, just period? He never had his own place, his car was bought by Scott, he bummed off his girlfriend and moved in to her house, flopped in everything he does etc
Nah he was jealous and definitely went wtf? cause lbr that is very weird for a dude to get his gf a gift, there's absolutely zero coincidence the gifts stopped for the remainder of their relationship and resumed when she was single again

If it was just an on camera gift then there would be no reason for Todd to get mad because he would know it's just business and means nothing, he was always jealous of David and def thought it was inappropriate he got his girlfriend a birthday present and that big/personal
