The difference with axolotls is that when they grow older they keep their gills so its kind of like having a baby face all the time!!!! BABIES FOREVER THEY ARE SO CUTE AND SO STUPID BECAUSE Like you need to watch out for stuff you have on the bottom of your tank they will eatAnytbjng smaller than their heads even the babies which is why ppl usually tub them or have nothing on the bottom when theyre little. UNFORTUNATELY YOU NEED TO CULL THE EGGS A LOT OF THE TIME UNLESS YOURE LIKE SUPER EXPERIENCED Its sad bc theyre like……endangered in the wild Sad my little hidey guys.you need hides in your tank so they feel safe and light and nothing to hide under makes them stressed. Their gills will curl forward when stressed poor guys and they get the zoomies
