i loveeee sunturine but i hate how people portray them. a lot of people portray sunday or aventurine as someone who’d be extremely toxic and abusive to the other ans it makes me… so confused? they def would be unhealthy but I don’t think they’d be abusive towards each other. it mischaracterizes sunday too, because sunday is truly a kindhearted man that only wants the best for the people he cares about (like robin & penacony as a whole), but he goes about it in the wrong way (like attempting to seal everyone in a sweet dream because he wants them all to be safe, just at the cost of their freedom.) because that’s all he’s known. all he’s known his whole life is following the path of The Order, because of Gopher Wood indoctrinating him into that path. Sunday would not be a terrible partner whatsoever. I do believe he’d definitely have unhealthy habits and behaviors because of everything he’s gone through, but he wouldn’t hurt his partner on purpose. Now, Aventurine is a bit more tricky as I’m not well versed on his lore. But, based on what I’ve seen from his character, I don’t think he’d be a terrible partner either. Like I said with Sunday, he’d have unhealthy habits and behaviors due to the abuse that he faced his entire life. Neither of them are perfect, of course, but I don’t think either of them would be abusive towards the other.
