I've noticed you've mostly played modern Sonic. Do you intend to play the Genesis games eventually, or are you just not as interested in those?

ooo this is actually a good question... i've been meaning to play the 2d games for ages but i'm always too lazy to do it.... lately though i picked up sonic mania again cuz it turns out i had it on my switch account! i'm planning on playing the other 2d games [on emulator cause i am Very broke] after i finish the modern games i own... i think i might start with sonic advance cuz i've heard it's fun + I LOVE GBA GAMES! if i do play the genesis games i'll prolly do it in release order [1 -> 2 -> 3&K] !

to answer my sonic global qotd's i've sent so far... my favorite characters are silver, shadow & sonic + i've played sadx, sa2, sonic frontiers & sonix x shadow generations on steam [pc], sonic mania on switch & sonic forces on ps4! i've seen all of sonic prime [binged it for almost 8 hours straight] & the movies [going to see sonic 3 in cinemas soon AHHH!!!!!!!] + a few episodes of sonic x [original jp version w/ eng subs] which i plan to finish someday. same w/ sonic boom i've only ever seen clips of it so far, i've only beaten frontiers [on hard difficulty] & shadow generations, but i'm playing through sonic generations & mania atm & plan to finish sa2! fun fact about my experience w/ forces: i pre-ordered it. i played it on launch. i was... QUITE YOUNG. i think i traded it in to my local eb games LMFAOOO i don't have it anymore...

oh yeah btw. forgot to mention. yesertday i BARELY got a sub 3 minute time [in-game time was like 2:59.98] on kingdom valley act 1... planning to cut it down shorter heh i need to learn how to play the other levels faster.......

01. + 05. favorite sonic character & ramble about them: i've really liked shadow ever since i got into the series but i feel like i've grown to like him a lot more now... as practically any sonic fan knows his story is very tragic... from maria to getting his memories tampered to forget her true wish for humanity... when i played shadow gens on release night [i pre-ordered it JUST to play it early] it felt like my heart was an egg & it was thrown at a high velocity to a WALL. i'm ngl the ending cutscene of shadow gens made me tear up a little... he wants to save his family so bad but he has to move on... also the cutscene where HE SMILES SO GENUINELY MADE ME NEARLY DIE.... the way his hand lingers on maria's as he moves away because he doesn't Want to let go but he has a duty to do... god this series makes me insane. i wanna throw up [/positive]
