i'm not as big on reichi as i am with eiritsu, but i do enjoy their dynamic quite a lot too! of course, they're very silly and hilarious together, especially when they have to pretend to be nice to each other when aira is around (like Wartime of Black and White is my everything lmao). but more than the comedic interactions, i think their relationship is pretty fun to dissect, like how they push each other's boundaries in ways that even other characters close to them can't. it's interesting to see how, even though he acts like he can't stand eichi, (much like wataru) rei doesn't actually hold a grudge against him for everything he put them through during the war, and probably despises him more because of how close he is to ritsu than for being the annoying rich bitch ksnfkgkgk i'm very much in love with their scenes in Element too, the tension between them during that time and what rei said about eichi properly looking around him and cherishing those connections he made, how that was the first pus...
