monkey d luffy is pretty misunderstood, no he isnt a tiny babie autism type of person. He has been regressing his age due to having to grow up faster than others. He was put Through what i call โmental tormentโ , losing his brother ace was a moving point for luffy. He still (im sure) misses him. He was with him for a while. He is still in his youth. 19 Physically But Younger Mentally, Sure there are points where he can make straight thoughts, but his whole Character is just so sad. It aches in me as i relate to him badly. Even as a introject. Monkey d luffy Has been and will always be a complexified character. And i thank oda for that. Some kids in this World are forced to grow up and he symbolizes it onto luffy like a arrow in the heart. It aches me.
