It's about a woman who goes to the english countryside to cope with a tragedy she experienced and things get weird!! it's very fun because you don't know what's real AND its a metaphor/allegory! Other films that come to mind are I'm Thinking of Ending Things, The Lighthouse and Beyond the Black Rainbow! If you end up watching any feel free to get back to me I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts!! all traps used in the saw franchise are built and designed to be functional! of course the actors are not in any real danger (though a few requested to be, for authenticity's sake) and they take out parts of the traps that would make them actually deadly. For example, the reverse bear trap would work, if it was hooked up to an air compressor and if it was attached to the actress' face- but for the filming of the movie, it wasnt !
