And yes, Narakyian transition quite often. Around 5% of the population are trans. They'll even have a ceremony, it's called Renewal.

As for the other races, there are trans people out there but think of it like humans in more historical times. They exist, but they're not readily accepted and there really isn't language for what they are.

Kor is fantastic at fighting and fucking really - even for a Narakyian. But beyond that he's surprisingly studious and clever.

They would exclusively use weapons like spears or halberds for fighting and hunting. Swords aren't really a thing because the reach on a sword is terrible for fighting in the air. Because of their tough skin and consitution they never really use bows and arrows because it wasn't terribly effective but bows are sometimes used for hunting. Narakyian will use magic for fighting but it's wild and unpredictable, so it's used more like a cannon in war.

The Masters of Matriarches of the huge harems in the cities hold a huge amount of power. Controlling the flow of pleasure and sex in Narakyian society gives you a large amount of sway.

Murder and the harm of children are considered the most serious crimes. For the most henious of offences a Narakyian can be put to death, or exiled to the Outer Reaches but there are jails and fines put in places for smaller things like stealing.

The Narakyian government has a monarchy but directly under that monarchy is a council made up of 12 members who are charge of different aspects of government. So there's someone in charge of managing the water, another one in charge of justice and so on. The heir is always on the council as a secondary advisor to the King, so Kor is on it. Anyone can become a council member, no matter the rank but in practice it's generally held by Nobles who jostle for power. You can become one by dueling another council member or weaseling your way in through politics/social events.

Things HAVE changed radically in the last 100 years just as a note. It used to just be a monarchy.

Very deep below there are huge eel like creatures that settle on the sand-sea-bed and grab unsuspecting whales that have dived to rest on the sea floor.

I'm not sure how much people have picked up on but there are huge rainforests and massive lakes on the upper continenents.

Far, far out in the desert is called the Outer Reaches. It's freezing and it's inhabited by Narakyian who are on the run from the law or more wild then normal. It doesn't contain water, and few animals live there, so not many people from any race decided to settle there.

Honestly here wearing any kind of clothes are sort of a turn on when you're regularly around naked people. The Narakyian equivalent of slut gear is probably a lot jewellery worn around the chest.

Her consertative clothes probably leave a lot to the imagination which drives him wild. In the future she'd probably wear things that both cover and accentuate her chest to seduce him.

Gosh I'm not sure honestly I remember. The pickings were slim when I was young because I didn't have much access to nerd stuff. I remember having weird feelings around the huge dragons in Spyro and I'm sure it spiralled from there.

I have an ongoing plan in my head about Kaede and Kor meeting in college, ending up in the same class, and becoming unlikely friends because they like the same tv shows. They go from friends to fuck buddies to finally admitting feelings for each other. It'd be a lot less dramatic then the regular comic but I'd like to explore the judgement they recieve for being together and in general navigating being in two very different spheres.

Death in childbirth is common for Kaede's people, not for Kor's people! There isn't any specific rituals for death in childbirth. Kaede's people, the Irenians, will usually mourn the lost child as well though.

Funeral rites for Narakyian is being wrapped in fabric and dropped into the Sand-Sea. Irenians are usually buried, though fishermen and people of importance will be given rites and thrown into their seas.

I'd just keep drawing and improve your craft, there's always an audiance for it.
