Now we've gone too narrow because there's barely any guitarists I can think of who only do instrumentals.

Ok how about just favorite guitarists to listen to—or is it still the same 5 people?
How about if I just ask favorite guitarists in terms of songwriting but only those instrumental acts/bands?
