The five guitarists you said are the absolute best in the world right now, are they also your favorite guitarists in terms of the songs they write or would you say you have a different set of favorite guitarists that have the best songs?
No, five guitarists with the best songs would be totally different. Not even sure what that would be because a lot of songs have guitar in them

Now we've gone too narrow because there's barely any guitarists I can think of who only do instrumentals.
How about if I just ask favorite guitarists in terms of songwriting but only those instrumental acts/bands?
