‘love from the other side’ is back on my tl; i’ve read the fic many times over but it’s the first time i’ve read the commentary and oh my god, it makes so much more sense. i was confused as to why seungcheol was the one who called jeonghan the ‘ghost’, but if you think about it, jeonghan is really the one who keeps … lingering. never being able to let go completely (even until the end. “i’m here.”)
god, i’m in love with your works as always. i read it again before i came here to message you. i’m in awe.
i think that being the thing that doesn't change and everything and everyone else moves around you—it's heavy. it also reminds me of how jeonghan has said that he wants to be like an island, to be the person that people can come to, but don't have to stay with.
admittedly i rted the fic again because i was watching a video essay on oxenfree (on the narrative arcs, and it as a narrative-driven game), and it got to a line that i didn't realize was a paraphrased quote from the game: "Do you ever get this feeling that you’ve lived this all before?" it makes sense that i would've pulled that or written that, because it's a game about time loops and alternate dimensions, but it gave me chills to hear a character say that bc like. holy shit????

this year i mostly listened to the challengers and tmnt soundtracks, i also listen to the spider-verse soundtracks and the new billie eilish album and a LOOOTTTT of pop punk or metal. nightlife, bilmuri, pinkslip, let's get it, issues, gideon, silent planet, etc. a good amount of stuff was written while listening to the new twenty one pilots this year, too!
i'm either listening to music or watching a tv show in the background or laying in bed in complete silence. no in between.

pairing i want to explore: been thinking about verhao a lot lately and also gyusol and there's nothing legally stopping me from writing vergyuhao so.....
i also want to write a jun ship saur bad... i've somehow made it this far without writing seokhao... idk. i need to return to my roots of writing rare pairs like i'm making myself insane

writing a wip is so lonely sometimes! i've been trying to trust myself more and just . let things take shape, which sometimes gets met with radio silence, but this getting the reception it's gotten so far is nice :')
collaborative works: well first and foremost there isn't a single fic of mine that doesn't have a friend ensuring me it's not bad and no i should not delete my ao3 account and move to the boonies so jot that down.
i've been picking at a series that lovker and i are writing but nothing has been published! if i have time next year i want to try to lasso some people into writing fics within the same universe as a fun writing challenge....
