ricky's cbar posted saying he'd sold 3795 gift boxes when at the time it only said 2000+ sold on taobao which means anywhere from 2000-2999 so they're probably using that data to fight

Yeah, they're using that to discredit ricky's sales. The problem is that ricky's gift box was officially sold on taobao, and only the sales that come from the specific link provided by the brand count in the total number of official sales. That's just how things in c-ent work and it's why cbars always urge fans to check if they're buying from the official store before confirming their purchase. There are people that take advantage of these situations and open links on taobao and other sites in the hopes that confused fans will buy from their links instead, and maybe that's what happened with ricky's gift box. But if that's the case, then his cbar shouldn't have included those unofficial sales. But then again, his cbar said they confirmed the numbers with the brand, so their statement about the sales should be legit...
wow its actual warfare for cfans this is crazy.. i would like to think that the cbars telling the truth like they should know better and not fidge any numbers in a hostile climate but wow theyre really strict over there are the sales still being slandered?

It doesn't matter if the cbar confirmed with the brand or not, what happened at the end of the day is that the numbers they posted aren't matching up with official numbers on taobao which is what really matters and it's just not a good look like his taobao sales alone were fine already they should have known other sfs would be waiting to jump them for what they posted😭 Ricky really can't catch a break with his cbars poor guy also I thought he'd surpassed yujin for sure but yujin's supertopic data has been better than him recently so it feels like they're still around the same in cn
yea that's true it doesn't matter how official it is if the site shows a different number it looks fraudulent and right I'd expect some kind of extra caution Ricky had to grow his cfanbase it was never big to begin with and the other two already beef cris
