If you can't make moderate progress by 9 years of age what exactly will you do for the rest of your life? When i was 9 I had already achieved grade 7 piano and recorder and I was invited to play at the kremlin. And here you are complaining that you can't even play recorder. Not flute or clarinet but recorder..... Grow up son.
