5a : (spoiler warning,,,) okay so. kind of tavros related rant. i hate gamtav. with every fiber of my being. not to be THAT guy. but its lowkey a darkship because what gamzee does to his head LITERALLY IN CANON. tav wasnt even interested in him when alive. i genuinely get enraged whenever i see gamtav shippers. AND ITS SO POPULAR TOO??? "heh! tavros need gamzee to protect him!" no he literally doesnt. sure. in the comic you could obviously see how he started seeing himself and his worth as his disability, but romance wouldnt have ever fixed that?? because thats not how it works? and its toxic to think that??? i have this theory that new fans dip into media before reading the actual comic and they all flock to gamtav because its so popularized. which just makes it MORE popular.
