https://neospring.org/+r/beb0baa940 they're kinda like vernon and joshua from svt in that way like you would think they'd be real close bc of the shared american-ness but to me they don't come off close at all, like they're fine but there's clearly other members who they gravitate to more. i think it is partly down to how they were raised like vernon growing up in a mixed heritage household and moving to korea as a child while joshua moved to korea when he was like 18 for training so they don't feel this immediate kinship that other foreign idols may experience, this need to stick together and thus naturally get closer in that way. with ricky and hao yes there's class disparity but ricky also grew up in america while hao was in china his whole life so maybe they are culturally different in that way....? idk though, idk if ricky feels all that american so maybe not. in the other groups i've been into this was never a thing tho, it felt like the foreign members who were from the same country would all be very close (tbz, twice, nct) but i guess they have similar growing up experiences in their own countries
