hi, i need to share some insane thoughts somewhere and somehow i'm here. i'm kinda obsessed with how in terms of wjsn's representative animals bona is a rabbit while so many of her good pairings are carnivores. like she's this small prey animal paired up with a cat or lion or dog or wolf because i'm a luda wolf truther. even in less common pairings like with dawon and yeonjung... i feel insane. don't get me wrong, she's probably still completely in charge with the other person at her mercy but wow

disclaimer i might also start sounding insane here and i hope to god this does not get out of writing twt but i do have thoughts on this. see the fun for me in writing kjy pairings is writing a 0 who acts like a 1 / thinks theyāre a 1 if youāre familiar with the terminology lol. like you can definitely see why people might see her as a 1 because of the fire in her personalityāwhich tends to flare up in group settings (read: just wjsn)āand because she is adept at playing cool doting unnie, and because of her assertiveness especially around the more passive members in the group whoāll just let her do anything she wants (taller members of the group just letting jiyeon manhandle themā¦ā¦..white noise). but i think the key with kjy is that ultimately she is 100% a receiverādonāt get me wrong, sheās an adept giver, but 1. itās obvious how over the moon she gets when sheās the one being doted on / babied 2. 583748 instances of her saying ģ¬ėė°źø° (receiving love) over ģ¬ėģ£¼źø° (giving love) 3. āif given the choice iād want to be the youngest in wjsnā, āenjoying being the youngest in my family āŗļøā, calling herself baby princess and anything equivalent CMON 4. if youāve read her bbl / pmā¦ā¦.Any One Time she talks about an unnie. just pick any one.
so yes i do agree with her being āin-chargeā of the dynamic in general and i do incorporate that in my fics but! itās also very very fun to write moments where the control slips away from her. i also think ships where she gets to be a brat (possibly nothing gives kjy greater joy) + ships where the other half is physically bigger than her (even if slight) and (as i keep quoting oomf) her fiery menace energy gets indignantly quashed are top-tier. think kjy going āiām not small š¤¬ā and sjy towering over her patting her head and cooing āokay unnieā while kjy fumes futilely in her arms. (frequent canon event) kjy pairings like these give me great joy and i tend to (only) go for these if you look at my roster. eunbo i will finish the fic i have for you somedayā¦

another angle with the predator/prey dynamic is looking at it in a wanting her so bad it makes them feral way which is fun to think about + then luda would make sense to me here as well. just look at how insane most bborangdans are. sheās kinda all-consuming

different anon but everything about this is making me insane bc lately iām just thinking about spoiled jiyeon bc i recently watched homemade love story (i think youāll know who i am based on this hehe)
she says sheās far from haedeun in terms of personality but idk the cuteness and spunkiness of haedeun is actually so much kjy! i know she says sheās far from haedeun and maybe thatās bc if you rank her roles thatās relatively true but the thing is! haedeun is a little shit but also always doted on and i LOVE seeing kjy in those elements because she glows in those situations š
like being a little shit might be one of the things i like about jiyeon i just had an epiphany some few weeks ago that i like it best when seolbo are being little shits to each other not just one way

if kjy is universally 0, that implies lld 1 in bonlu and thatās an insane thought. i mean, look at the first video here. lld is so easy for kjy to tease and she seems way too happy to be kjyās puppy (this feels so bad to say this, but all those times where kjy holds out her palm in front of lld and she rests her chin or fists on it make for pretty damning evidence...). if sheās a wolf, thatās a cub at best. but kjy also seems equally bully-able and lld can be a menace too, so iām sure sheer force of will can make the alternate angle work. kjy jumping up and down or stomping her feet when mad is so bunny-coded though, i love that

i hope more anons ask you this kind of stuff so i get to read your essays šš every time i read your kjy thoughts i feel like i stumbled upon something straight out of the library of alexandria like omg. i get to read all this knowledge for free (!!???) ( i also get to feel validated in my obsession)
coincidentally, the other day i came across someone who said cats & bunnies were the perfect pair bc cats show dominance by grooming and bunnies show dominance by being groomed, so both think they are in control of the situation (i don't know how true this is, you're the bunny owner here so pls enlighten me š) anyway. yeah. that exact dynamic (even if it's more subtle & varies depending on the situation) is the one i always have in mind for sb so i went a little insane.
related to that, I've always thought jiyeon is very aware of how people react to her & what she has to do for someone to react a certain way (this might sound like she's manipulative lol, but i mean she knows how to charm the other person and how to get them to show their love to her)
so, even when she leans more towards being a 1 (like in bonlu) she's still this way imo. my head canon for this is that kjy likes lld best when she's being all flirty and she witnesses lld turn into a babbling mess for her. in a way, this registers in kjy's mind as a way of receiving affection too. šļø
