I honestly really like the personality jump leon kennedy had between the second and fourth game, to me it really shows he grew up and now handles his issues and trauma differently. Like in RE2R for example, after the game he was still very happy regardless of being traumatized, like he was still... a cheerfull guy, but the more he grew up and the difference things/trauma he went through he now probably does not know how to handle his emotions now and just completely tries to shut them off. I do like that every now and then you can still see a bit of his goofy/cheerfull personality shine through when he lets his guard down but that he very easily puts his guard back up.
