You play D&D?
Nah, closest I've come is CRPGs like Baldur's Gate 3 and Jagged Alliance. I'm generally not a fantasy guy, and I have an issue where I think of it as theater and not as a numbers crunchy tabletop game.
Then when I say I'm not a fantasy guy every person is like "well what about this system or this system" with games that look half baked or settings that aren't interesting, so I guess you can't just reskin D&D to work for a modern zombies thing or anything like that.
I'm coming around to thinking about it as a board game and not make believe, but my least favorite part of Baldur's Gate was the combat, and D&D seems mostly combat, lol. Seen a group fight like, 4 dudes and it took several hours which just feels glacially slow. I did like Jagged Alliance a bit more but I just jive more with the setting.
I've been trying for like 7 years to like tabletop games but it just might not be for me tbh, I have like 20 reasons to dislike it and 5 to like it. Plus I'm in a weird situation where I've enjoyed the idea of tabletop but I've never actually gotten to play. So 7 years of being vaguely interested with no playtime LOL
