Hiii tips on making better graphics as a beginner?

HIII !! I have personally been in this ( editing ) community for like 1-2 years now BUT i will still try and give you some of my own tips ! :33

i have TONS of pngs and resources saved in my own gallery , and tumblr is my main place to get renders / transparents . wiki pages also help alot if the fandom has some , even if ive personally worked with jst game images or medias with low resources . plus , resource rentrys help alot too as they have tons of resource you can save ^^ !! and don’t be afraid 2 use someone else’s work ( whilst crediting them , of course ! ) since that just means you appreciate it :))

i personally use ibis paint since its the easiest 4 me , but whatever youve gotten yourself used 2 would work just fine !! i usually insert the images , add overlays ( i usually do “ overlay “ effect , then duplicate the layer and have it be “ multiply “ then duplicate it again and have it be “ color burn “ . ) then turn them white ( either with the fitler “ mono color “ or “ color “ effect ) , then add a gradient map , either using a filter on ibis paint or this site . im still not the best at making graphics but i think if im sastifed with them in the end , then that’s all that matters 2 me :33

i dont think i can give much more tips but basically overlays help ALOT !! you can jst search up rentry overlays on tumblr and / or pint and they’ll probs appear up ! and the gradient map isn’t necessary , especially if you have your own color palette :33 i usually do around 4 at most colors , since its hard 4 me 2 make the graphics look good with more colors , but there is alot of websites you can get really cool color palettes :33 like a color pallet generator and tumblr , for example .

again , im still a bit of an amateur myself and am always taking advice and tips too , but i hope something i listed on here helps !! /gen
