Do you have voice claims for the cast of Starstruck?

OHHHHHH...... OH THAT'S A GOOD ONE HANG ON.

Okay so the short answer is no, I don't have any specific VA's picked out for them yet [except for one]. I've never found the Perfect voice for any of the cast, but I do know what each of them sound like in my head.

Star:

Stereotypical anime protagonist boy voice. Sounds like he's in his mid-late 20's. He has the least distinct 'sound' in my head, as he's trying to constantly be palatable, friendly, and cheery. But... I want his voice to be able to have an edge to it when he gets stressed out or the facade starts to waver.

Comet:

Comet has a smooth, calming voice. But he strays into 'best friend of the anime protagonist' sort of trope territory when he gets riled up. He doesn't have any sort of accent. I could see him having that sort of 'stereotypical goth guy' voice, but a bit smoother and more confident rather than whiny. Little bit of vocal fry to his voice if he gets REALLY pissed/growly. Josh Keaton COULD do a good job with it, but it's not perfect.

Penny:

When Penny is friendly and putting on her customer service voice, it's much higher than her natural tone. She has a medium-tone voice with a lot of power and authority behind it. She's calm, sassy, and has a lot of bite to her voice when she wants to shut someone up or she's getting pissy with a client over the phone. She can turn from sweet and higher-pitched to 'dominatrix' at the drop of a hat.

Marble:

Marble is big, tough, and built like a fridge, but in my head she has a very soft and monotone voice. One you'd want to read bedtime stories to you. [Makes her a great DM/GM] However, her voice is very 'clear', and doesn't have any rasp to it unlike a lot of deep-voiced women characters I've seen.

Monty:

Monty is an easy one- she's a southern belle with a medium-low voice. Her words sound like honey and she could put anyone at-ease.

Joey:

Joey's got an interesting voice in my head... She's a gremlin, and she's a new yorker, but she's hispanic and was raised with english being her second language. However, you wouldn't be able to tell unless she gets angry. If she's calm and in her element, it's all new york. If she gets angry, the spanish accent slips in before she switches to full-on angry spanish ranting. Not sure what her tone would be though, I'm imagining medium to medium-high?

Nova:

Vi from Arcane. : )

Cinder Jewel:

She's the newest member, and she doesn't really have a distinct voice yet! I'm sure I'll figure it out over time.~

Myu:

Myu just makes a bunch of dumb trilly sounds, it's hard to describe lmao

Taylor:

That's a harder one. He's definitely got a rasp to his voice. But he also kinda fits the stereotypical emo vibe, with more of an edge. Medium-tone.

Silvy:

Now this one is hard! Silvy is trans-masc, so I haven't decided if he should have his pre-transition voice, or if he's more gender ambiguous. Either way, he's very lilt-y and has a lot of charm and charisma. Probably a medium-high tone.

Milke:

Very Fluttershy-esque, but not a 1-to-1 exact match. Small, soft, quiet, very polite.
