I'm on anon right now since I'm still working out my neospring but 🎞️ I'm obsessed with Persona! It's a major interest of mine. What would you say is your favorite persona game, favorite character from each game you've played/overall, and objectively which story would you say has the most interesting or compelling plotline?

11 / 🎞️ 𓂃 ࣪˖ ཐིཋྀ a little bit basic but persona 5! So far it’s the only one who’s games I got to play and I genuinely prefer experiencing everything in game play, I adore the aesthetic and how flashy it is plus the concept of in itself with palaces allows for way more creativity imo then p4 and p3 which is why I prefer it!
In terms of favorite character in each game, that’s a little hard as every character in persona has traits that drives me towards them, But in persona 5 my favorite has to be Joker! With sumire and akechi as close seconds. I just love royal trio. in persona 4 it’s no doubt Naoto, and I have a huge soft spot for Yosuke too. In Persona 3 I really really like Aigis Makoto and Ken!
In terms of story I have a lot of differing opinions and my ranking changes depending on the topic. I think overall I enjoy p3’s story most. (Popular opinon lol) in terms of its themes and message. In terms of most interesting to me? Persona 5, it’s brilliant but writing falls flat in some places, Theres questionable scenes. Yet the events that happen keep me actively engaged. Persona 4 to me really lacks what makes me love the franchise, yet a powerful asset of it is the tension and relationship and focus of the characters in general.
02 / 📜 𓂃 ࣪˖ ཐིཋྀ Yes! I have a lot actually, I even attempted to make a silly lil p5 spin-off centered on my ocs but I had to put that project on hold! (It was called Persona 5 Fantasia) but besides the ocs I have there, I guess you can say my yumesona are also ocs despite being me! Like ibuki who’s in p4.
But my absolute favorite oc is Maira, he’s in persona 3 and I gave him the sorta “guide” role as he’s the elder brother of Makoto/Kotone, who “left” them behind because he decided to dedicate himself to work in hopes that one day it’ll be enough to give both of them a happy life (in the end though he only managed to hurt his little sibling), he’s only a year older then the third years and literally came back as a teachers assistant the moment he got word that Makoto or kotone would be studying there!

Heyy Konton, I came off anon but I'm still figuring things out 01 - It's not basic at all! Persona 5 would have to be my favorite as well, with P4 as a close second. It's reasonable to have it as a favorite since the game is considerably polished compared to p3 & p4! The concept of P5R, the character interactions, and the user interface are all captivating. And personally, I think some of the best OSTs have come from P5/P5R.
As for my favorite characters, for P5R it would be Futaba Sakura & Yusuke (they remind me of me & my brother), Akechi and Sumire! The royal trio dynamics are impossible not to love and their metaverse designs are arguably the best. P4 - Yu Narukami & Yosuke, Adachi, Nanako Dojima, Naoto, the list goes on.. P3 - kotone, akihiko and shinjiro!!!
The plotline question was inspired by an argument between me and a friend, but I would have to say p4's story is the most solid; but the objective and popular opinion is p3. I think p4 was a good mix character interactions, comedy, and plotline-- but p3 & p4 have nothing on p5's social link system. p3 is a pretty stagnant at the beginning and it takes a couple months for the plot to kick in, so looking at it from that perspective I would say it has its own issues despite being a great story!
02 - Your OC Maira is absolutely precious. I love his design so much!!! Him having a guide role is something I find fitting considering the themes in p3 and how the events that take place in the game are more traumatizing compared to p4 or p5. And also, I would love to learn more about Persona 5 Fantasia sometime if you dont mind!
and.. sorry for being so chatty (im just overjoyed whenever i find another persona fan) but these are extra questions you dont have to feel obligated to answer!
