since we’re talking about self-shipping, i’ll make this all self-ship related because yay🎉🎉

🐙 - i’ve been a self-shipper for like….. maybe 5+ years now ? it was REAL bad during the pandemic when i used to ship myself with one character i will not name because i don’t like associating myself with his source anymore (i got beef with the creator whoops) seriously i made a whole instagram account for him😭

🍧 - never came up with a name for the self-ship oc i’m talking about so um….. we’ll call him Runo for now. anyways fact about Runo: his partner (aka the character i ship him with) has black and white/silver hair, while he has white hair. as a joke, he dyed the lower strands of his hair white to match. i haven’t fully decided how his partner reacted yet.

🎉 - ty for letting me yap ily (/p) one of the characters i self-ship with (and is the character i was talking about in 🍧) is Gin Gagamaru from Blue Lock !! he’s kind of what started getting me back into self-shipping lately because i am NOT normal about him. i have an entire page on my notes app solely filled with facts and my headcanons about him. he’s the reason i started listening to the band Southern All-Stars (listen to erotica seven NOW) and i have so much merch of him……

the character i ship him with….. they’re gay so gay very gay. if i keep his name as Runo then their ship name will be Runomaru. part of me wants to make Runo a guy who is also a part of the Blue Lock Project, and they just so happened to know each other beforehand (like with Reo and Nagi) besides that, they have matching hair pieces that Gagamaru made for them out of ivy…… They go on forest/mountain dates and read manga together. i headcanon that Gagamaru is a rock collector and shows all the stuff he finds to his boyfriend…… Gagamaru also canonically eats with his hands because he canonically doesn’t how to use utensils, so Runo occasionally helps him learn (Runo doesn’t really mind, though). i might post art of them one day because i want to spread runomaru propaganda……. plus i love the idea of someone making art of them one day…..

in short…… i love gagamaru. he is part of my soul and holds a special place in my heart.
