🎀 ​ ​ ​ ​ ۰ ​ ​ ​ I can't stop thinking about Rhaenyra; I love her so much. In both the show and the books, she's canonically queer and beautiful. House of the Dragon will always hold a special place in my heart. While I enjoy the books, I prefer the show. Many fans disliked season two due to character portrayals, but I find them more realistic. One of my favorite differences is the relationship between Alicent and Rhaenyra—childhood best friends turned rivals. In season two, during the war, Alicent seeks Rhaenyra to escape together "Let' fly away together, leave all this behind" (its a call back from the first episode of the series), but Rhaenyra responds, "You speak from a distant dream." (Rhaenyra × Alicent: doomed Yuri, I fear...)
