Honestly Ricky is one of those people that just has the viral touch to them regardless of nationality, like he was one of the first and only bp trainees to go viral from the start I agree his issue has always been building a large core fandom I've seen his kfans on dc talking about it they talked about how he always gains huge amounts of attention but isn't always able to sustain that interest whether it be because of inactivity on social media or lack of schedules etc.

To me he's like the Mingyu of zb1? Very very well known amongst non fans and goes viral all the time but doesn't quite have the strongest individual core within the group. Also I think yes should definitely work on building that core fandom but tbh some idols are just more viral, non-fan oriented than core fandom oriented that's just how it is and there's nothing wrong with it
