ppl always say that idols in the same group shouldn't date bc then it'll be very awkward on camera and irl if they break up but i think with haobin the reason they likely felt ok to do that is bc their group is temporary, meaning if they ever did break up mid-contract then they'd have to just wait a year/few months more and then be done with each other for the rest of their lives (tho, idk if u read alice's neospring, but the theories there about them being toxic exes who can't stay apart make sense to me lmao). they also just go for what they want and deem that most important (hanbin's "don't regret what you do" tattoo + hao's complete change of university/career plans) so yeah

Exactly!! The nature of their contract def helps. And even IF they were to break up, they'd be professional enough to act like nothing happened on-cam. I read alice's take on exes haobin and i agree with her lmao, i feel like they would get back together at one point ðŸ˜. Since they share a dorm, it seems like their relationship is serious and they're thinking about a future together. And about the "idols can't date in the same group"...i don't get why people say that because it has happened before : Spice girls, the 2 girls from SNH48 not long ago, two korean guys from a first gen bg...and so on. Idols are human and they date all the time. The percentage of queer idols in the entertainment industry is pretty high, it's hard to believe that no one has hooked up with/dated their teammates before. It was just never revealed to us because korean journalists don't out idols.
