hi there. so, i have a good idea of who this is and we are not in fact mutuals but whatever. feel free to unfollow idgaf. but by ship discourse i mean telling people that they're wrong for liking certain ships or top/bottom dynamics. i don't see what im doing as contributing to ship discourse, im mad about the standard of behaviour and the way that fancreators are treated here, and im calling shit out as i see it bc people are too comfortable with being awful for no reason.

and it's not "better things to do". teenagers are cognitively primed to be combative and stubborn. when you're a teen, your brain makes Escalation the first available response. i can't blame teenagers for having strong opinions and being annoying, it's literally my responsibility as an adult to recognize that and walk away from the shit that they're starting. which is why I think adults who engage in rps discourse as I have defined it here are really annoying. bc they're grown.
