a bit embarrassing, but I've always been pretty fixated on kinnie culture as it evolved and the decor community that stemmed from that. It made me feel happy to decorate complex carrds for my friends knowing they would be happy to recieve the attention from having a cool, coded one that wasn't so common back then. (I miss you, nocontextcarrd)

for self expression too.. my DID is pretty severe so rentry was easy for my alters to pick up and get the hang of, we all have pretty individual styles I think.. so making graphics was a quick & fun way to pass the time. So yes, self taught.. aahhh...
