Diff anon but I do think kyungsoo might be slightly tired of acting considering he took 3 projects back to back with no break when he was in SM.
When SM was pushing the break pedal on his singing career, I always assumed that him picking so many projects was to fill that void cause otherwise he’d really be jobless for the whole year minus few months of filming.
Now that he’s taking his time to rebrand as a singer, he’s also taking his time with acting projects ( kind of reminds me of IU and how she’s dealing with her acting career) she picks one project a year and dedicate the rest for her singing career which seems to work very well as a balance)

i used to say that: considering all the circumstances (ie singing career getting blocked while nks, thank FUCK, had his back => his acting career was exponentially soaring, enlistment nearing), he did good doing projects back to back.
people need to realise he sacrificed a LOT for that, down to his health, he himself talked about it which was heartbreaking, really. it was a gamble going that fast at the time where exo were at their peak activity wise but it paid off in the end, i'm so happy for him it did. it wasn't comfortable at all and i hope he never puts himself through that again but doubling down then is what put him to such a level that now he doesn't need to rush anymore. 100dmp being an absolute super mega hit was the cherry on top but even without that he would've gotten his flowers.
and now? he's got all his time ahead, the industry recognizes and loves him! he does a drama? excellence award, best actor nomination. he does a movie? best actor nomination. at 30 years old, and with a career split in two!!
he gets to do what he wants at a more leisurely pace and lord knows that's amazing considering just how active and proficient he is in three industries now: acting, singing, entertainment.
