surprisingly normal most days! jonny is in school and his dad works so weekdays theyre busy but they eat dinner together and jon does whatever he can to show them he cares. they do worry, though- they and their dad have had a 'talk it out' policy their whole life so theyre just is honest about their thoughts. and when jonny talks about how he used to act or something he did that hurt, jon sr gets this look in his eye and his voice gets quiet in such a way that shows jonny that there's real guilt in his dads diseased heart. and that usually makes him feel better. when theyre not otherwise busy, his dad just makes it sad. it feels bad for the guy. he drinks and smokes and sleeps and works a lot. yknow? if you saw your dad doing that it'd be a little sad no matter how shitty they are. BUT OVERALL! theyre aight! they have scary movie nights once a week he brings his dad in for parents day etccc
